Description:

This phase III trial studies how well pazopanib hydrochloride works compared to placebo in treating patients with metastatic kidney cancer who have no evidence of disease after surgery. Pazopanib hydrochloride may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth and by blocking blood flow to the tumo
