The goal of the Office of Scientific Development (OSD) is to define and enhance the scientific identity, distinctiveness, and strategic vision of the CCR.
The OSD:
- Identifies high-priority, under-appreciated, and promising scientific areas within the CCR portfolio
- Develops innovative types of research infrastructure and models of research interactions
- Explores creative intramural and extramural funding opportunities
