Collaboration and Team Science: A Field Guide Wins an NIH Plain Language Award
Collaboration & Team Science: A Field Guide, co-written by Dr. L. Michelle Bennett, Dr. Howard Gadlin, and Samantha Levine-Finley, won a 2011 NIH Plain Language/Clear Communication Award.
Drs. Bennett and Gadlin routinely give lectures and conduct workshops based on The Field Guide. They design their presentations to help researchers participate in, establish, and lead successful scientific teams and collaborations.
The Field Guide has been shared with scientific research institutions around the United States and is available in pdf form from this site.
The Plain Language awards recognize communications and documents that are clear, correct, and easy to understand and do not “dumb down” information or use unnecessary jargon or language.
