Our Vision

To accelerate cancer therapies by using imaging biomarkers to detect, characterize and monitor cancers

About Us

The Molecular Imaging Program (MIP), directed by Peter L. Choyke, M.D., is a multidisciplinary group consisting of imaging scientists, chemists, physicists, engineers and molecular biologists. Established in 2004,the MIP focuses on clinical translation of targeted imaging agents for cancer imaging. MIP personnel in all teams work closely together to speed the translation from the bench to the clinic. The MIP has three sections:

Pre-clinical Development
Physics and Instrumentation

Molecular Imaging Clinic

The Molecular Imaging Clinic, which opened in 2009, is located in Building 10, and investigates potential diagnostic imaging agents that employ nuclear, optical or magnetic resonance reporters in human subjects.
