NIH Intramural Research Program (IRP) Clinical Trial (CT) Orientation Program
The NIH IRP CT orientation program provides a basic, comprehensive overview of the conduct of clinical trials according to U.S. Regulations and Good Clinical Practice and NIH IRP policy. The program consists of online learning activities and a 1 day face-to-face class. For CCR staff, a second ½ day will provide an overview of the CCR and CCR specifics related to clinical trials.
The online learning modules are a prerequisite for the class and all required activities MUST be completed prior to attending the class. This will provide you with fundamental clinical trial information. The class will focus on operationalizing these basic concept in the context of the NIH IRP. The CT orientation program is appropriate for anyone engaged in clinical trials. Those new to the NIH IRP are encouraged to attend. Those who are interested in a refresher course are also welcome. Registration for the course is requried (see below). For more information, please contact Liz Ness (301-451-2179 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
